Thang Long Vietnamese Restaurant

If you’re looking for a review from someone who’s an experienced Vietnamese food lover, here it is. Thang Long has possibly one of the best vermicelli bowls (they call them salad bowls) I’ve had in Europe and North America. The sauce is fragrant and has such a good strong garlic flavour, along with the freshest toppings I’ve seen in a while. The portion size was great and we left feeling extremely satisfied and content with our first meal in Greece. I’m a skeptic when it comes to eating Asian food in Europe but would highly recommend this spot!

Strongly recommend this restaurant when you visit Athens.The food is fresh, very generous portions, authentic and flavoursome. The menu is extensive to suit any taste bud. The staff are very nice, fast service. There are indoor and outdoor seating. I found even just to grab a coffee and sit in the outdoor area to watch life go by is so relaxing!

Our little girl had an international day study about Vietnam. We found this place to give her some authentic taste. We’ve lived and travelled in many countries and held a standard for what authentic food is about. With hesitation at first, we decided to give it a try. We are very pleased and enjoyed every dish. We can finally recommend an Asian place in Greece to our friends. Food was prepared with details and high quality. Menu offers a great variety. Very cute sitting area, mostly thanks to the helpful and friendly staffs. Will go back soon!

Just an amazing place to be! The vegan pho was rich, flavorful, and packed with fresh veggies. The vegan curry was also delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Excellent food from Vietnam. Cook did a good job. Service very nice. Small minus - starters should be given the same time and time between first and second dish should be better calculated. Lack of Vietnam music. Definitely go there if you like far east cuisine.

If you happen to be in Athens and looking for Vietnamese food, check this place out, good food, service and great atmosphere. My wife give it big thumbs up. Last I had pecking duck and prawn sweet chilli... they weren't for my taste but noodle and black coffee for today lunch we really enjoy them.

Came to this place to get a spice kick after eating Greek food for many days and it did not disappoint. The ambience is very intimate and cozy. Plenty of vegetarian options and I loved the tofu fried rice made extra spicy. Special mention to our lovely server Jahid who made our dinner special with conversation and attention. Will come back again.
